The Flamboree domain will be divided into several zones. Some parts will be centrally located and will be the home of activities, markets, shows, etc. Other parts will be divided up into – what we call – ‘subcamps’. One of the four subcamps will be your homebase, together with approximately 300 other participants. Your group will be allocated with a place to sleep, to cook, to relax … and more important … to catch up with other international scouting brothers & sisters.
Your subcamp will be co-ordinated by the “subcamp staff”. They will welcome you in their own creative way and they are there to solve all your practical questions. Every evening the subcamp staff will organise wacky activities to break the ice between your group and the others. To put it shortly: They are there to give you a great time.
Dear participants
Flamboree is drawing near and we are putting the final touch to the preparations.
Nevertheless we have one crucial point to finalize: the "buddy material".
We would appreciate if you could give us more information about the material
your group will bring (patrol tents and trunks, etc). Who can bring what?
Who could lend out some material items to fellow Scouts/Guides and who would need some?
Please let us know on buddy@flamboree.be
Help your foreign Scout and Guides friends by bringing some additional material.
We understand that is not always easy for everyone but your foreign friends do need that material.
Once we have a clearer view on needs and supplies of material, we will announce
the final "buddies" groups through separate emails.
We can already unveil the names of the sub-camps. You will find hereunder a summary of groups vs. sub-camps split.
So now is the time for you to get hold of decoration items and clothes proudly displaying your sub-camp's colour and get
ready to conquer Flamboree with your sub-camp!
General questions are welcome on info@flamboree.be and specific questions about
the sub-camp should be addressed to the specific sub-camp emails hereunder:
Aries (blue): subcamparies@flamboree.be
Taurus (red): subcamptaurus@flamboree.be
Scorpio (green): subcampscorpio@flamboree.be
Leo (yellow): subcampleo@flamboree.be
See you soon at Flamboree!
